It’s easy! First you must have a valid trading license and a Flyland Express Seller account. Then you will need to upload the requested documents to open a seller store. Sign-up to create a Flyland Express Seller account here. Find out more about documents you need to create a seller store here. Once you have submitted all of the required documents and received approval, your store will be live within 5 business days

The below breakdown of fees and commissions applies per item, and the rates differ according to the selling model you’ll be using to sell your products on Flyland Express; either fulfilled by Flyland (FBF), or fulfilled by partner FBP (Cross-dock FBP or Direct-ship FBP).

From the first sale that you’ll make on Flyland Express
Once you start selling on Flyland Express, we will automatically transfer your sales revenue (net of fees) to your bank account on a weekly basis when the value of the weekly payment statement is greater than or equal to UGX 1000000 Otherwise, if the total weekly payment is less than UGX 1000000 then we’ll process your payment once a month, regardless of its value, even if it’s below UGX 1000000 You will receive a payments statement for each transaction which you can find in the Statement tab of your Seller Station.
All Vat registered sellers are liable to pay the VAT to the government. Flyland Express raises legal tax invoices to customers on the seller’s behalf which can be downloaded from Seller Station. You’ll also be provided a Flyland Express fee tax invoice for all fees & commissions that get deducted from you. You can use the fee tax invoices to claim your input VAT from the government. Flyland will pay the VAT to the government for all the sales of non-VAT registered sellers

SELLING
The method with which you choose to stock, sell and ship your products with Flyland Express. At Flyland Express we have two selling models available to our sellers.
1. Fulfilled by Flyland (FBF) or Flyland Express
2. Fulfilled by Partner (FBP) or marketplace

FBF is Flyland Express's dedicated end-to-end support selling model, preferred by sellers and customers alike.
As a registered and verified Flyland Express seller/Vendor, you will have access to our in-house interface called Seller Station which helps you sell your products and manage your store on Flyland Express.
It depends on your selling model. If you are using fulfilled by partner (FBP), cross-dock or direct ship, you will be notified via email whenever you receive a new order. All orders pending your approval will appear in the Stock Requests tab of your Seller Station. Sellers using the fulfilled by Flyland (FBF) selling model don’t need to worry about this. Flyland Express will manage your orders, inventory, return, and customer queries on your behalf. FBF sellers can follow their sales directly on the Sales tab of their Seller Station.
Sometimes customers decide they no longer need or want the item they have purchased. We have clear guidelines in place to protect both our customers and sellers rights. Customers can cancel orders anytime, and can return products within 15 days of purchase. If you are using a FBP selling model the returned products will be sent directly to you within a few days. If you are using FBF returned products will go back into your inventory in Flyland Express fulfillment centers. FBP sellers can optimize their returns by opting to store their returned items in our fulfillment centers then converting them for sale as FBF items. Flyland Express's selling models include shipping fees so the amount depends on the selling model you have chosen.
Fulfilled by Flyland (FBF) is a premier selling model and operates as an end-to-end service provider for our sellers. Fulfilled by Flyland (FBF) is a selling model that allows you to stock your products in Flyland Express fulfillment centers. Flyland Express will manage your inventory and customer orders, shipping orders directly to customers on your behalf. Flyland Express will also take care of customer queries and returns. Onsite all FBF items are listed as ‘Flyland Express’ allowing customers to filter by them. FBF is popular with customers as it promises shipping within 24-hours of purchase.
In order to start selling you will need to add your products to Seller Station. Listing products on Flyland Express is straightforward, you will need the basics - great images, a description, specifications, and product IDs. Learn more about how to list your products here.
